- Fashion photographer Nicholas Routzen is based in NYC, yet finds himself shooting on an international scale. Influenced by his early exposure to surf culture, he has dedicated himself to pursuing his passion behind the lens, seeing and creating things the typical eye doesn’t. His starkly scorched out and deftly lit pictures bring to the scene a very real and moving intelligence that melts down convention and creates something totally fresh and smoldering - that unfading, unbeatable youth that separates an image from being cool to turning it into one that's staggering and timeless.
